Join University of Memphis Faculy in full academic regalia as they proceed from the McWherter Library to Rose Theatre for the spring 2008 Faculty Convocation. The event begins Wednesday, April 23 at 1:45 pm. The awards presentations begin at 2:00 pm with a reception and displays of scholarly and creative work by University faculty at 3:00 pm.span>

Dr. Marian Levy received Ruby Wharton award
 Dr. Marian Levy, associate professor and director of the Master of Public Health program at the University of Memphis, received the Ruby R. Wharton Outstanding Woman Award in the area of race relations.
